Interdigital Bandpass Filters

Eagle Comtronics offers a series of interdigital filters that cover the 500 MHz to 12 GHz frequency range. Interdigital filters are entirely distributed networks consisting of an array of short circuit quarter wavelength lines. The interdigital filter series provides a device suitable for rugged environmental requirements in a practically unlimited range of applications.

These filters are available with 2 to 15 resonant sections and bandwidths from 5% to 60%, with the standard designs offering VSWR specifications of 1.4:1 maximum and specials as low as 1.2:1.

While the standard product offers excellent characteristics, Eagle can enhance parameters such as insertion loss, group delay characteristics, and power handling capacity through special electrical design and custom package design. See filter transfer functions below.

This design offers a compromise between low insertion loss and extended passband rejection levels.
