Model EE-2002 |
Head End Encoders are used to scramble premium channels by introducing a jamming signal in the middle of the premium channel's video and audio carriers. A positive filter, installed in the subscriber's drop path, decodes, or unscrambles the jammed signals and restores the picture and sound. Model EE-2002Eagle's Model EE-2002 dual discrete jamming carrier offers improved scrambling by using dual IF carriers. Model EE-2002 introduces Eagle's patented "Dual Stage Pre-emphasis" at the headend which compensates the video near the jamming carrier and sharpens or enhances the decoded picture. |
